BRAN, ROMANIA — October 30, 2026 — Imagine the last public visitors leaving Bran
Castle. The doors close. Darkness settles over the Carpathian Mountains.
But inside the castle, the night is just beginning.

On October 30, approximately 100 guests will remain behind for Dracula’s Vampire
Ball at Bran Castle, an exclusive private Halloween experience presented by
Mysterious Adventures Tours and hosted by Dacre Stoker, internationally bestselling
author and great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker, creator of Dracula.

From 6:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., guests will have private after-hours access to one of the
world’s most legendary gothic landmarks for an evening of dining, dancing, storytelling
and theatrical encounters—all building toward one unforgettable moment:
Welcoming Halloween at midnight from inside Dracula’s Castle.

Not Just a Party Near Bran Castle — A Private Night Inside It
For travelers researching Halloween celebrations at Bran Castle, the distinction is
important.

Larger public Halloween festivities are also advertised around Bran Castle, with
celebrations taking place on the lower grounds outside the castle and
accommodating significantly larger crowds.

Dracula’s Vampire Ball is an entirely different experience.
This is a private Mysterious Adventures Tours event limited to approximately 100
guests, taking place inside Bran Castle after normal public visiting hours.
For eight hours, the castle itself becomes the setting for an intimate gothic celebration.
The evening begins with private after-hours access and a guided exploration through
Bran Castle’s corridors and chambers, followed by a private Vampire Dinner inside
the castle.

Then the Ball begins.
Costumed guests gather for a night of music, dancing, cocktails and gothic festivities
with a DJ, surrounded by the stone walls and dramatic architecture that have made
Bran Castle synonymous around the world with the legend of Dracula.
Throughout the evening, intermittent storytelling and theatrical encounters bring the
legends of Transylvania to life. Vlad Țepeș—Vlad the Impaler—and his entourage
will make appearances within the castle, introducing the historical figure whose
legacy became forever intertwined with Dracula mythology.

Celebrating Dracula with a Stoker
Presiding over the evening is a man with an extraordinary connection to the story.
Dacre Stoker is the great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker and an internationally
recognized authority on the history and legacy of Dracula. He is co-author of Dracula
the Un-Dead and Dracul and has appeared on the History Channel, PBS, Travel
Channel and other international media.

At Bran Castle, his presence provides something costumes and decorations alone
cannot: a living family connection to the man who created one of literature’s most
enduring gothic legends.

Guests will celebrate Dracula alongside a Stoker while history, literature, folklore and
theatrical storytelling converge inside the castle most famously associated with the
Count.

Everything leads toward midnight.
As October 30 becomes October 31, approximately 100 guests will gather inside Bran
Castle to welcome the arrival of Halloween.

Outside, the Carpathian night surrounds the fortress. Inside, the castle belongs to the
Ball.
